Third Lean Six Sigma Green Belt trained member of staff.

1st June, 2015

Sean has successfully completed Green Belt Lean Six Sigma training. He is now the third member of staff trained to this level.

For 8 days over the past few months Sean has been travelling to Tiverton to undergo Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training.

As part of the training, he has lead a small team in our factory, analysing the process of our polyester continuous coating plant. The team have split the task into several sub tasks, and have started with assessing the measurement of the polyester coating.

Although this project will be running for some time, a number of new processes have already been introduced to improve consistency and ease. So far, the team have seen a reduction in the levels of scrapped material, improved quality and increased efficiency.

In order to become certified, Sean had to give a presentation covering his work, and the teams work. The presentation was held and the training venue in Tiverton and given in front of all the other trainees and their bosses. This was an excellent chance for Sean to display the improvements made through his project, as well as gaining an understanding of the projects that trainees from other companies have completed.

Source would like to congratulate Sean on completion of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training as he becomes the third member of staff trained to this level.
