The directors of Source have acquired S.W.Tooling from John and Gill Whiting.
John has carried the Technical and operational responsibilities for S.W. Tooling for over 20 years and has
grown the business steadily over that time. John and Gill will be staying on to help ensure a smooth
transition and we wish to emphasise that it will be business as usual, providing technical engineering
solutions on time to our clients.
Beyond the first few months John will be available on a consultancy
basis.
Paul Gingell will be the main Technical contact with Chris Cook remaining as foreman. All other staff are
remaining and we welcome them aboard; as with all companies they are our main asset and we now
have an even greater wealth of toolmaking experience.
Paul has worked at S.W. Tooling and our two companies
have been increasingly involved over the past few years. In particular Source has undertaken a
considerable amount of the wire EDM work for S.W. Tooling. Pablo Gutierrez will work with Paul and they will be
the main customer contacts.
S.W.Tooling Ltd will continue to operate as a separate business though it
will have access to the technical equipment and other capabilities of Source. We believe that the
cooperation between S.W. Tooling and Source will help enhance the great service that John has provided over
the years.
